Professional Stuff
Hello! My name is Jennifer Cook, AKA BlueSaved. I'm an artist who's worked in the game industry for about 8 years. Oh hey, that's me to the right there... Neat (coffee mug is to scale).
I've worn a lot of hats, all of which relied on my specialty in stylized 2D art and mixed media. I've done character design, illustration, look dev, asset creation (2D and 3D, both static and animated), UI design, marketing materials... Even art direction for some unreleased indie titles.
I've done all of this with small to medium-sized teams, both in person and remotely, so I have a deep understanding of production pipelines and can easily adapt to most teams. I have a lot of experience with iterative workflows and coordinating with other disciplines too, and I believe it's super important that departments communicate effectively and respectfully with each other.

Personal Stuff
I can spend entire days watching traditionally animated shows and movies. I love sci-fi, fantasy, theology, and layered world-building (I've spent years of my life in FFXI and FFXIV for those exact reasons). I also play a lot of Zelda, tactics games (FF Tactics and Fire Emblem), and any action/RPG that lets you enjoy a beautiful world and/or create your own space. I can be a bit competitive sometimes, so fighting games like Soul Calibur and Smash are a great outlet, and rhythm games like Guitar Hero are a great way to compete against myself.
I also enjoy art for art's sake - the feel of natural mediums scraping on paper, testing out brushes and art programs, learning new techniques and technologies, etc. I have an almost obsessive affinity/love for the color blue. (And green. And brown. And other mellow earth tones... But mostly blue). Other than that I love all of the cliche stuff... Caffeine, cats, rainy weather, absurdist humor, snails and other cute creatures.
